David has over two decades of experience in the financial industry. While he often helps clients establish and manage their investment portfolios, David is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner who enjoys assisting his clients as they plan their financial futures. Striving for more knowledge with which to benefit clients, he recently attained a Master’s of Science Degree in Personal Financial Planning.
David attended UNC-Chapel Hill on a Morehead Scholarship earning degrees in Economics and Business Administration. An Asheville native, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Judy, and his two sons. A manager for the national championship 1982 UNC Basketball team, David follows Tar Heel athletics closely, and can be found on a golf course, or preferably, in a trout stream during his free time.
